I remember uber-lusting over these when they first came out, man, those 05-09's aged so terribly.

I think they were always terrible, but everyone was able to justify it because it was a new chassis and had no equal comparison. The previous 03-04 Cobras were still the best looking cars up until the 2010 GT500 for most people, including myself.

Refreshed chassis, same 'old' tech. Also they're hideous. Should've just kept making new edges.
